I am officially in Iceland!

 The bluebells are back! despite starting an endless amount of work, lunches in the sunny woods make it seem much more bearable 

Heat wave! ( we've even had forest fires) we took a trip down the coast, and passed some splendid lochs on the way

We're just back to Brighton after an almost 6 week easter holiday! This picture is of the largest moon that england had for 10 years i believe, pretty big ey,

 It was really lovely to be back in Sheffield in the spring, i went for a few runs at Chatsworth house, and it was so hot that i jumped in the river after, quite different from our rainy trip.

Me and tommy managed to get a job in a ski chalet for a few weeks over easter, we went to a pretty fancy place called Courchevelle in France.

The snow wasn't too great for skiing, so after a few days we gave up and started to explore, it was amazing being in the Alpes in the spring, lots of nice flowers.

I've recently started a Hula Hoop cause and thoroughly advise everyone in the world to try it! My teacher used to be in the Aussie circus and also did some sort of Hula dancing thing, so the classes are about learning loads tricks, there really good fun and we usually listen to Abba, it's amazing, at the end of the course i will make a show of video to show you my skills.

Another boast , me and bec went for our longest run on sunday, its was a lovely sunny day and we ran to the marina and along the sea wall thing, then out to Roedean, were we ran through these roads with the biggest and crazy houses i've ever seen, we wen't for nearly 2 hours, the experience has inspired out to go for longer runs, are you still running?

Last week me and Beccy finally handed in our Erasmus applications, unfortunately all of the places in Cali were gone, but we both have found a recent obsession with Iceland and put is as our first places ( did you know it's traditionally matriarchal and is apparently classless, i really like the idea of living somewhere classless, as i've only just discovered such places exist,  very different to England ey! ) i've put my second choices as Helsinki and Copenhagen, we find out if we get it in a few weeks so fingers crossed.


Each week me Joss and Calum play basketball together,  it's really good fun, we play in this strange oval cage court thing, it feels very edgy!

 This weekend Eve and Beccy went for a paddle, they are mad, it's freezing here! We also watched the new zeitgeist film, have you seen it? it's quite a watch.

And on a final note, do you get battered sausage over there?

I'm not sure if you met Sam but he's possible the most intelligent person i've ever met, he also has a really dry sense of humour, we all look forward to his visits. Last night Eve's step dad came over for the first time and brought beer and cheesecake, he knows the way to girl hearts!

Hello there my American friends,
It's been lovely reading your amazing blog's, I've especially enjoyed your videos and British pub crawl pictures, if only the real thing was that pleasant. Hows you voluntary placement going? it looks amazing!
I'm afraid the long cold winter has made me incredibly lazy and my blogg has suffered, however I am back!

Last week was the return of viva le France festival thing to Brighton, ( picture below ) although unfortunately Coming Soon didn't show their faces, we went to the Basement to see this Congolese guy who's played with mos def and the roots who was cool and the CSS orchestra who were pretty average, its was our first trip to the basement, what a sweet venue!
